Here are some upcoming piano concerts up at the U

PIANO: SUMMERARTS CONCERTO WINNERS
The young winners of the SummerArts Piano Competition will perform in concert Friday, Sept. 11, at 7:30 p.m. in Libby Gardner Concert Hall. Conducted by Michael Huff, the impressive and entertaining program will include works by Brahms, Prokofiev, Mozart, Saint Saens, Tchaikovsky and more. The talented pianists, who range in age from elementary school to college, include Ksenia Ilinikh, Oscar Jones, Ubeeng Kueq, Alex Marshall, Sarah Nelson, Lauren Neff, and Michael Stewart, and Ali Yorgason. Tickets are $7 general admission and $3 for students. Tickets can be purchased at www.kingsburyhall.org or by calling 801-581-7100.

SUNDAYS@7 FACULTY SPOTLIGHT: PIANIST LARRY GEE AND CELLIST ELLIOTT CHENEY

Sundays@7, the School of Music’s free faculty recital series, will feature acclaimed pianist Larry Gee and cellist Elliott Cheney in a spotlight concert on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. in Libby Gardner Concert Hall. The impressive program will feature the world premiere of “Camelot Romance, Op. 118” by Crawford Gates, as well as sonatas by Chopin, Poulenc and Boccherini. Sundays@7 is the School of Music’s free, one-hour faculty recital series. Sunday parking is available on and around Presidents Circle.
